Day 1 - Phinda Private Game Reserve

Depart O.R Tambo International Airport to Phinda Private Game Reserve where a representative will meet and transfer you to the lodge. The transfer time is approximately 10 minutes.
Dramatically set into a cliff face overlooking spectacular Leopard Rock, Phinda Rock Lodge is an architectural delight, combining Malian influences with pueblo panache. Its six suites are seemingly suspended over the deep valley below, providing breath-taking views.

The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive that continue after nightfall. Professionally trained guides will ask you about your favourite wildlife and will do their best to ensure that your preferences are met, whether it is tracking a particular species or spending more time enjoying each sighting and getting to know the habits of the animals.

Day 2 - Phinda Private Game Reserve

The day is at leisure to enjoy the variety of activities on offer. For those looking for an active thrill beyond the excitement of Big Five sightings on a game drive, walking safaris offer an opportunity to connect with the African bush, interacting with all its inhabitants from largest to smallest.

Why not treat yourself to an Ocean Safari that offers a wonderful opportunity to encounter some of South Africa’s beautiful marine life. This exciting adventure, aboard an inflatable vessel and in the company of a certified dive master, offers the prospect of encountering and swimming with wild dolphins, snorkelling amidst flourishing reefs and the chance to view humpback and southern right whales (seasonal).

Day 3 - Phinda Private Game Reserve

The day is at leisure to enjoy the variety of activities on offer. Enjoy a Zulu Village Tour visiting an authentic Zulu homestead, visit the training school of a local sangoma, or traditional healer, and shop for exquisite handicrafts in the community surrounding Phinda. Get a glimpse into the rituals of daily life and see how tribal culture and tradition affect rural Zulu villagers in the modern world.

The vast sandy beaches of the Maputaland coastline provide a beautiful setting for a half-day beach outing. Soak up the sun, splash in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, relax with a good book, play beach games, take leisurely walks along the shoreline or snorkel alongside Jesser Point, a protected marine reserve.

Day 4 - Cape Town

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Cape Town International Airport. On arrival a representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel. The transfer time is approximately 45 minutes.

Perched above a pebbled beach at the foot of Chapman’s Peak and overlooking the Cape’s iconic Sentinel mountain, Tintswalo Atlantic sits sheltered by the Table Mountain National Park and enjoys the very best of magnificent, panoramic ocean views, as well as access to the natural beauty found along the mountainside’s winding hiking trails. Ten beautifully appointed suites offers the luxuries of a world-class hotel.

The afternoon is at leisure. Enjoy sundowners on the deck beside the heated pool while enjoying the scenic views over the Atlantic Ocean or share cooking tips with the charming Executive Chef.

Day 5 - Cape Town

The day is at leisure to explore the area. We are able to arrange a variety of touring options, from township and street art walking tours, Cape Town by motorbike side car, Stand Up Paddle boarding in the V&A Waterfront, a private sunset boat cruise with sundowners, Table Mountain 4x4 Wine Safari to visits to Cape Point, Robben Island and full day winelands wine tasting and explorations.

Day 7 - Southern Kalahari

After breakfast you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to the Southern Kalahari, located in the Northern Cape. The flying time is approximately two hours. A representative will meet and transfer you to the lodge. The transfer time is approximately 20 minutes.

The Motse lies at the foot of the Korannaberg Mountains across the grasslands of the Kalahari. The malaria-free reserve offers 100 000 hectares of wilderness with a large diversity of wildlife. Motse means “village” in Tswana and consists of just nine spacious and secluded rooms. Each comprises a spacious bedroom with an open fireplace, an en suite bathroom with both an indoor and outdoor shower, together with a large study area. The private sun deck overlooks a waterhole which attracts animals of every kind.

The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer. These include game drives, bush walks, horseback safaris and a variety of spa experiences at the Tswalu Spa.

Day 8 - Southern Kalahari

The day is at leisure to enjoy the activities on offer. A morning can begin by walking to a meerkat colony and watching these engaging mammals warm themselves in the sunshine before they scamper off to forage. Night walks offer the chance of exceptional sightings such as aardvark, aardwolf, porcupine or brown hyena at even closer range.

Horseback safaris allow guests to explore the dunes and savannahs on well-schooled and mannered horses, which are suitable for all ages and all levels of experience. Equestrian guides are well trained in the Kalahari ecology, and will lead you on a true safari where you can ride alongside antelope, buffalo, zebra and giraffe. Game drives at Tswalu are a unique experience because guests have their own vehicles, guide and tracker. Apart from discovering many rare and endangered species for the first time, every guest leaves with a deep appreciation of the beauty of this entire
eco-system.
