Day 1 - Arrive Florence

Meet and greet upon arrival into Florence Airport/ Railway Station, then privately transferred to your luxury centrally located hotel in Florence.

Overnight: Four Seasons Hotel

 

Day 2 - Florence, a Living Masterpiece

Enjoy a walking tour with your expert local guide exploring the Renaissance city of Florence, a living museum. Your journey through the streets will bring you towards the vast Duomo by Brunelleschi through the most important Piazza’s of the city; Republica and della Signoria, to the world famous Uffizi Gallery. Your guide will bring the masterpieces of art by such masters as Titian, Da Vinci and Raphael, to life.

Your guide will also show you some delightful quarters on the opposite side of the River Arno, where artisans still work to hand-craft shoes, jewellery, leather goods and paper products in the traditional way.

Day 3 - Michelangelo’s David and the San Lorenzo District

Spend a further morning with your guide discovering the delights of Florence. Your tour will include a visit to the Galleria dell'Accademia to see Michelangelo's David. Continue to the lively San Lorenzo district of the city, which buzzes with street-markets by day. Here you will discover the Medici Chapels, designed as an elaborate resting place for the Grand Dukes of Tuscany, which employed the finest architects and artists of the Renaissance. 

Optional Insider Access: Enjoy tastings of different Florentine foods in the Mercato Centrale, where local people shop daily for their provisions.
