Venice is undoubtedly one of the most romantic and unique cities in the world. During your private shore excursion, the dynamic history of this wondrous city will be brought to life. Begin your day with a warm greeting from your assistant, who will accompany on the private motor launch journey to the famous Piazza San Marco. Your privately guided walking tour will commence with the highlights of two of Venice’s most prominent buildings; the stunning Basilica of St Mark and the Doge's Palace, a masterpiece in Venetian Gothic architecture.
There will be time to enjoy lunch at leisure prior to your excursion to the Lagoon Islands. Burano is the most colourful of the many small islands, with brightly painted houses surrounding its waterways. Murano, the centre of the city’s world-famous glass making industry since 1291, is composed of a charming cluster of islands linked by bridges. After your visit you will be privately transferred back to your cruise ship.
