Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive in London, panoramic overview tour, flight on the London Eye

Welcome to London!

Upon arrival at Heathrow airport you will be welcomed to London and privately transferred to the heart of the capital to enjoy lunch at the Criterion restaurant in Piccadilly Circus, an opulent example of neo-byzantine architecture, the restaurant glimmers with mirrors, mosaics, grand windows and imposing arches. 

After lunch, enjoy a short panoramic tour which will include Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Downing Street, and the Houses of Parliament before crossing the river to enjoy a ‘flight’ on the world’s largest observation wheel, the London Eye; from here you can enjoy fantastic panoramic views – in good weather even as far as Windsor Castle.

Later, transfer to your hotel and check in. After time to relax depart for a fun and informal evening at a traditional London pub, the George Inn, which dates from the 17th century and is London’s last remaining galleried inn.

Day 2 - Meetings, Emirates Cable Car Ride, Tower of London and Crown Jewels

Morning meeting at the hotel including a tea/coffee break and followed by lunch.  

This afternoon drive into east London, an area which has seen considerable social and economic rejuvenation in recent years particularly in the approach to the Olympics. Here you have to opportunity to take the Emirates Air Line cable car across the river enjoying excellent views of the O2 Arena and the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. 

Afterwards visit the Tower of London built by William I nearly 950 years ago on the site of old Roman fortifications. Here you will meet the famous Yeomen Warders (‘Beefeaters') who will entertain you will tales of intrigue, imprisonment, execution and torture. You will also visit the Crown Jewels, a magnificent collection (still used regularly by the Her Majesty the Queen) which includes The Sovereign’s Sceptre with Cross set with the Cullinan I (or Great Star of Africa) diamond measuring 530.2 carats, the largest colourless cut diamond in the world, and the Imperial State Crown which is worn by the monarch at each State Opening of Parliament.

Tonight at the Cinnamon Club, housed in the baroque grandeur of the old Westminster Library, you will enjoy Vivek Singh’s exquisite ‘high spec’ Indian cuisine.

Day 3 - Meetings, Spencer House, Wine Tasting, Dinner Cruise on the Thames

Morning meeting at the hotel including a tea/coffee break.

Enjoy lunch today at glamorous and stylish Quaglino’s, in the heart of St James’s.  

Later visit nearby Spencer House which was built in 1756-66 for the first Earl of Spencer, an ancestor of the Princess of Wales. This magnificent house is London's last remaining aristocratic 18th century palace. Lord Spencer's architect, John Vardy, designed the exterior and the ground floor rooms and James Stuart decorated the upstairs rooms in the classical Greek taste, which took him eight years to finish. Vardy's Palm Room, with its gilded columns in imitation of palm trees, is extraordinary. The Painted Room by Stuart, one of the most famous 18th century rooms in the country, is a celebration of 'the triumph of love'.  The afternoon will conclude with a tutored wine tasting in the 17th century cellars of Britain's oldest wine and spirits merchant.

Tonight, enjoy a delightful dinner cruise aboard London’s largest restaurant cruise vessel which has an all-glass structure allowing unimpeded views of all the sights and exterior viewing platforms.

After a welcome glass of champagne on arrival followed by an an excellent 5-course dinner enjoy the superb live musical entertainment and take to the dance floor.

Day 4 - Depart London

Today you will be privately met according to your flight schedule and transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
