Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi

Arrive in New Delhi Airport where you will be met by our representative outside the customs gate and escorted to your hotel.

Day 2 - Delhi

This morning, begin your full day guided tour of Delhi.

The city consists of two parts - Old and New Delhi. Old Delhi was the capital of Mughal India and has a prodigious collection of mosques, monuments and forts.

Begin your Day in Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, the Royal Mosque, which was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1656. Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes followed by a short walk in Chandni Chowk, the colourful shopping bazaar known. Drive past Red Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Continue to Raj Ghat, a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.

In the afternoon, visit New Delhi - the imperial city created by the British as the capital of India. In 1911, Edwin Lutyens, the most renowned English architect of the Day, was chosen to design New Delhi. Drive through the majestic boulevards, proceed towards Rashtrapati Bhawan, where the Viceroy once lived and is now the official residence of the President of India. See India Gate, a war memorial arch built in honour of 90,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. Visit Humayun’s Tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the first great example of Mughal architecture in India. The Day’s tour ends at Qutab Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) - a soaring tower of victory which is 72.5 metres high and has five distinct storeys.

Day 3 - Delhi – Nagpur – Pench

Transfer to Delhi Airport in time for your flight to Nagpur.

After arrival in Nagpur, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Pench National Park in your private vehicle. The driving time is approximately 2 ½ hours.

Pench National Park is one of India's well-known tiger reserves, and situated in the Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh. Pench Tiger Reserve is said to be is the setting of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. The Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, porcupine, monkey, four-horned antelope and barking deer are the various inhabitants of the National Park.

Day 4 - Pench National Park

This morning and afternoon, enjoy game viewing in Pench National Park. Jeep safaris will get you up, close and personal with a wide array of animals, including the elusive Bengal Tiger.

Day 5 - Pench – Kanha  

This morning, enjoy a 4 hours’ drive to Kanha National Park.

Kanha National Park is one of India's finest tiger reserves, and situated in the Madla – Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh. Nestled in the Maikal Hills of the Satpura Hills range in the south eastern part of the state of Madhya Pradesh, the National Park has beautiful areas of sal forests, large bamboo stretches and lush green meadows.

Day 6-7 – Kanha National Park 

Enjoy game drives every morning and afternoon for these two days and enjoy tracking tigers.

Day 8 - Kanha – Bandhavgarh

Today, partake in an early morning game drive. Later, enjoy a 4 hours’ drive to Bandhavgarh National Park.

Originally the private hunting reserve of the Maharaja of Rewa, Bandhavgarh was given national park status in 1968 and is now one of the best places on earth to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger.

Day 9 - Bandhavgarh

Spend a full day exploring the popular tiger reserve with a trained naturalist on twice-daily safaris. Its dramatic and diverse landscape features tropical forests and woodland, steep rocky hills and flat grasslands with a large variety of mammals. Choose from 4WD safaris or a guided walk.

Overnight: Bandhavgarh National Park

 

Day 10 - Bandhavgarh – Jabalpur – Delhi

After breakfast, enjoy a drive to Jabalpur to catch your flight to Delhi.
