Akorn has been operating in India since 1985. Our five offices and 250 associate agents offer a full range of travel services for small groups and individuals - from itineraries to ground operations including bespoke travel arrangements with airport representatives, drivers, professional multilingual guides and escorts and a private fleet of modern luxury cars and coaches. We offer cultural tours, treks, nature walks, wildlife safaris and bird spotting tours. We also make travel arrangements for our clients visiting Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. All queries are responded to within 24 hours.
We work with 4 star hotels and upwards, with the majority of our business at Taj, Oberoi, Aman, Imperial, Ananda, Devi Garh, and so on. Due to the volume of our business we enjoy special privileges at these hotels including exclusive prices and "free sale" room allocations.
Akorn has access to private homes and local celebrities, even a private audience with a Maharaja! To make travel interesting, we also include unique experiences such as a private discourse with a spiritual guru, high-tea with a museum curator, a gourmet sojourn with an Indian chef or a textile tour with a specialist.
