Welcome to Paris, home to the 2024 Olympics.

Your Guardian Angel meets you at Charles de Gaulle Airport and accompanies you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to attend one of the many events (tickets not included) or begin exploring the "City of Light".

Optional:

Enjoy a nostalgic evening tour of the city travelling in a Citroen 2CV, one of France’s most iconic cars. These delightfully humble classic cars offer a wonderful view of the unmissable Parisian sights. Your driver whizzes you through the city to experience the very best of Paris in this unusual and fun-filled manner! Explore the most famous monuments and fountains of Paris which take on a new perspective when lit during the evening. (1 hour, driver)

Day 2 - Paris

Depending on the events you will be attending today*, you may like to include some morning or afternoon sightseeing. Start by taking in the main highlights of the city.

Paris boasts some of the most famous landmarks and museums in the world. Get your bearings with an orientation tour and drive past sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, and the Ile de la Cité. Here you pause to view the exterior of the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece that has become one of the world’s most recognizable places of worship, as they work to rebuild following the tragic fire of 2019.

Alternatively:

France is known for its culinary delights, and you may wish to add an optional Paris food walk to your agenda. Spend the morning with a restaurant critic and food expert who will take you on a walking tour to some of the best food suppliers in Paris. Perhaps visit a world-renowned boulangerie and learn about the French art of bread baking from the baker himself. You might prefer a glimpse into the life of a dedicated chocolatier who trained with the very best. The choice is yours — simply tell your guide what you long to see and do.

*A driver can be included to transfer you to/from events.

Day 3 - Paris

Today your driver will be on hand again to transfer you to the events you have independently booked. Soak up the atmosphere of the sporting calendar's biggest event.

Return to your hotel later today, before heading back out for an unforgettable dining experience where you will explore the sights of Paris from a different perspective during your public dinner cruise on the Seine. Your cruise experience offers a mouth-watering four-course dinner accompanied by a selection of wines and live musical entertainment. Following a welcome glass of champagne, take your seats at a round table exceptionally positioned towards the front of the boat. Return transfers from your hotel are included this evening. (3 hours, including private transfers)

Day 4 - Paris

Today, if time allows between events you are attending, you might like to explore further afield and head south of Paris to the "Sun King" Louis XIV's Palace of Versailles. Explore the State Apartments, including the amazing Hall of Mirrors — 357 mirrors that adorn 17 arches opposite the windows. From the Hall of Mirrors, look out onto the Water Parterre and beautiful, decorative gardens, which the king thought were as important as the palace itself.

Alternatively, take part in an iconic culinary experience.

Optional:

Immerse yourself in the art of baking La Baguette, France’s most iconic staple food. You will learn to create your own baguette with its heady aroma and signature slashes! Over the course of three hours, in the hands of an experienced chef, discover the boulanger's secrets as you are guided through the kneading, shaping, and creation of the dough. You'll learn not only how to create La Baguette but also the infinite possibilities of Fougasse – the French artisan bread that can be filled with an endless variety of delicious ingredients such as cheeses, spices, dried fruits, and nuts. At the end of the class, leave with your wonderfully authentic creations still warm from the oven. (3 hours, driver and Guardian Angel)
