- Banker’s Bar pays homage to the history of the hotel’s building, which formerly housed one of the city’s largest banks. The design incorporates the original safes from the bank’s vault as part of the décor, creating an interesting and evocative atmosphere in which to enjoy classic cocktails. It is considered the masterpiece of architect Fernando Guerrero Strachan´s work and took five years to complete, finally being opened in 1926 by King Alfonso XIII under the name “Hotel Príncipe de Asturias”.
