Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Barcelona, Spain
Meet your Guardian Angel when you arrive at the airport after clearing customs. Transfer to your hotel, where you are assisted with check-in. The remainder of today is at leisure.
Overnight: Hotel El Palace
Day 2 - Barcelona
Today meet with your local guide and driver and begin discovering the masterpieces of Catalonia’s most famous architect, Gaudí. See his Casa Mila with its wave-like façade and the impressive, but unfinished, Sagrada Familia Basilica, currently scheduled for completion in 2026. Visit the Parc Güell, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Gaudi’s most colourful creations.
This afternoon, explore the city's medieval Gothic Quarter, including the magnificent 13th-century cathedral, notable for its fine chapels, medieval choir stalls and shady cloister. At the Picasso Museum, view some of the painter’s earliest works.
Optional:
Spend an evening like a true local, exploring some of Barcelona's most celebrated tapas bars. Along with your expert local guide, discover an important part of Spain’s food culture as you sit down and enjoy a variety of tapas (mouth-watering sharing platters). During a totally informal, probably crowded, certainly quite noisy and fun evening, you are introduced to some of the best gastronomy in the city. You may choose to remain in one bar or stroll between several until you have had your fill. During this fun and informal tour, you are bestowed with insider knowledge as you are taken to a selection of the city’s best places.

Day 3 - Montserrat
Embark on a half-day excursion to Montserrat, located high in the peaks of the Serra de Montserrat. Nestled in the crags is the spectacular Gothic and Romanesque-style Benedictine Abbey. Noted for enshrining the image of the Virgin of Montserrat, make sure to look out for the domed basilica that houses this shrine of the Black Virgin and the historic museum.
