About Akorn Kenya

Our first office opened in Kenya in 1962. We are a ground operating office and offer over 45 years of experience, quality operations of international standards, service-oriented culture and creative itineraries. We have a network of six offices in East Africa with a team of over 400 experienced staff (many are multi-lingual) including tour staff, airport representatives, drivers, guides and camping crews. We own and maintain a fleet of specialised safari equipped vehicles including minibuses, mini-coaches and 4WD Land Cruisers with HF radios. Our luxury mobile camping operation is an exciting concept that allows guests to experience the famed Hemingway mobile tented camps in exclusive locations within prime game viewing areas. Through our other offices in Africa we offer seamless trans-Africa itineraries. All of these factors combine to make us truly unique in East Africa.
