Calvin Cottar's family has been running safari's since 1919 since his great grandfather came to Kenya from America, their 1920s camp is the sum of all that experience. Stylish and cool it is the safari camp of your dreams. Squeezed between the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti itself, Cottar’s Camp has an unbeatable location and whether you are with Calvin himself or one of his highly qualified guides, you will find yourself seeing vast numbers of animals and learning about them in fascinating detail.

All made from elegant cream canvas, they are decorated with genuine 1920s antiques. Each tent has its own veranda, looking out over the Olderikesi Group Ranch where Cottar's guests are the only other cars you will meet.
The private house has a large living room, a dining room, a magnificent viewing deck and 5 en-suite bedrooms, all with stunning views.
