Day 1 - Welcome to Florianopolis

On arrival at Florianopolis International Airport (FLN), clear customs and immigration and collect your luggage. Meet and greet your local guide at the arrivals hall.

Ponta dos Ganchos Exclusive Resort, in the North of Santa Catarina state is a haven of green mountains melting into clear waters along the Emerald Coast. Overlooking a stunning vista of three small islands and a white-sand bay, the resort is truly unique and special.

There are just 25 sophisticated bungalows, carefully distributed around a private peninsula with splendid ocean views. The small number of guest bungalows ensures you have an exclusive experience with the highest level of service and hospitality, as certified by the Leading Hotels of the World seal.

The calm waters are excellent for snorkeling, canoeing, and stand-up paddle boarding and the romantic setting is perfect for couples, offering beach dining, and private picnics.

With only four units and approximately 1.400sq ft (130m2) overall, the bedroom and living area are integrated. There is a double bathroom with walk-in closets and a dry sauna. The jacuzzi is in a glass-walled and glass-roofed conservatory with an ocean view. Outside the bungalow has a private garden and a private infinity pool.

Day 4 - Departure

Your private guide and driver will accompany you to Florianopolis Airport to embark on your departure flight (not included).

Optional Activities

Motorboat Ride
Book a private trip in a motorboat to explore the region around the property. The itinerary is chosen exclusively for a couple and can include a quick visit to Florianópolis, the Baía dos Golfinhos (dolphin bay) and the Anhatomirim Fort. Those who are interested can combine the trip with a diving session in the Arvoredo Marine Biology Reserve.

Helicopter Ride
Depart from the Resort’s private helipad, a helicopter ride is an experience that will remain in the memory forever. Ponta dos Ganchos offers a range of route options, the most popular of which include: Florianópolis island, Balneário Camboriú, Itapema/Porto Belo, Florianópolis’ North beaches/Lagoa da Conceição/Beira Mar Norte. The view from above is marvelous and the trip will be unforgettable whatever direction you choose.

Snorkeling
Dive with the most varied types of fish and contemplate the crystal clear waters of the sea that envelopes the Emerald Coast’s rich fauna and flora. Ponta dos Ganchos provides its guests with all the gear they need, such as mask, flippers and the snorkel itself.

Canoe Ride
For guests who want a different experience within the Resort, and get in contact with nature, there’s nothing better than a ride in a canoe to discover those of the Emerald Coast’s secrets that cannot be reached by land.

Stand up Paddle Boarding
Explore the coast on a complete and relaxing way, as your body and soul work out together. Contemplate the sea and exercise along the whole length of the beach, disconnecting yourself from the rush and anxieties of modern life. The equipment needed is available to guests and an instructor can be requested to supervise.

Yoga Class
Enjoy these days to celebrating a perfect union with nature. Connect and seek inner peace with yoga, in a training session combining respiratory techniques, body positions and meditation. The lesson lasts an hour and must be booked in advance.

Dinner on the Island
The moon, the sea and the stars are some of the elements that will make this a unique night. On the small island just off the Resort’s beach, an intimate and delicious dinner is prepared just for a single couple, exclusively, one per night. The tasting menu prepared by Chef José Nero is served by a private waiter and paired with wines specially selected by the sommelier. A special and very romantic occasion carefully prepared down to the last detail, making every moment unforgettable.

Exclusive Picnic
Ponta dos Ganchos has a spot reserved to offer guests an exclusive picnic, complete with selected cheeses, fresh-baked bread and a delicious variety of fruit, jams and, of course, a great champagne. Sunny afternoons will be unforgettable with this culinary experience al fresco and that great view out over the Emerald Coast.

Massage
A perfect combination of massages, scents and relaxing and therapeutic treatments developed exclusively for guests of Ponta dos Ganchos. A special favourite is the Ponta dos Ganchos massage with warm cinnamon oil combined with manual massage and steam heated herb pindas, specially developed to provide deep relaxation and wellness.
