Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Santiago
Upon arrival at Santiago International Airport, you will be met by a local representative who will assist and transfer you to your hotel. Early check-in will be organised for immediate access to your room, this way you can start feeling the local atmosphere and be prepared for afternoon activities. We recommend having lunch at the hotel (not included).
In the afternoon, you will experience one of the most vibrant cities in South America, Santiago. Chile's capital combines urban and classic styles in both its architecture and atmosphere. This city's heritage comes to life through iconic sights including the Moneda Presidential Palace (designed by the Italian designer, Joaquin Toesca) which served as a presidential residence from 1845 to 1930, and Santiago's most famous square: the Plaza de Armas (once grand living quarters, it now serves as offices for cabinet ministers). Other notable sights include the Cathedral, Central Post Office, and San Cristobal Hill (recognised as one of the largest urban parks).
You will enjoy a fun ride on the historical Funicular (cable car) to the top of the hill where you will admire the city from a different angle. After soaking in the views, ride down and gaze upon the famous Providencia district of the Northern Pedro de Valdivia’s neighborhood. This tour shows you the different contrasts of the city, taking you on a trip through the Santiago of yesterday to the modern metropolis it is today.
Early in the evening, your vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to the chef’s home, where he will receive you for an entertaining evening filled with Chilean preparations. Start the dinner with well-selected products, and then get down to work and prepare with the chef some typical Chilean dishes, all in light-hearted conversation and an amazing view of Santiago.

Day 2 - Discover Magical Places in Santiago
After a delicious breakfast, enjoy a day of activities carefully prepared and selected for you.
You will have a vehicle and guide assigned to you, together you will discover some of Santiago's hidden treasures. The day will start with biking in the upper area of Santiago, where you will visit the Bicentenario Park and the surrounding areas of this exclusive district. Depending on your interests, you will be offered a number of activity options to complement your journey. The guide will help and assist you in the selection of activities based on availability, weather forecast, etc. Some of the options are:
Museo Interactivo Mirador (MIM)
Located in the southern area of Santiago, about 20 minutes from W Santiago Hotel, the MIM covers more than 12 hectares in a complex with more than 350 interactive modules, installed in 14 rooms, including the Universe Tunnel Building, as well as outdoor spaces, where children can discover different phenomena and scientific principles.
Parque Aventura
The best outdoor park experiences in Santiago. Located on the San Cristobal hill slopes it is a short distance from hotels located in Providencia and Las Condes districts.
Adventurers of all ages will be able to test their skills by climbing walls, and crossing suspended bridges, among other outdoor activities.
Buin Zoo
Only 45 minutes from Santiago, Buin Zoo which is part of the Latin American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums (ALPZA), is the largest and most modern zoo in Chile. Located in an open environment of 12 hectares, it offers the opportunity to appreciate more than 2,000 animals of 250 different species. Buin Zoo has achieved a great reputation across South America for its conservation initiative, high care of endangered species, and improvement programs for optimal animal health. All the species found in Buin Zoo are organized within the park according to the geographical area to which they belong. It also has specific buildings dedicated to certain species: birds, arthropods, farm animals, and nocturnal animals.
After a day full of entertainment and discoveries, return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 3 - Welcome to Patagonia
After breakfast, depart from the hotel to Santiago airport and board your flight to Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales.
Upon arrival at the airport, transfer to Estancia Cerro Guido, 4:30hrs away from Punta Arenas, or 1:30hrs from Puerto Natales.
Estancia Cerro Guido
The Estancia Cerro Guido is one of the few active estancias in Patagonia. It was born at the end of the 19th as part of the Tierra del Fuego Exploitation Society (the largest cattle network in the history of Chilean Patagonia). The Estancia still uses the houses and facilities built during its early days. Preserving this cultural heritage of great value, offers visitors a close experience of the estancia's daily life, work, and people. This unique lodge has 12 rooms with a delicate and elegant decoration inspired by the original English style it was built in. Each room features a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, biodegradable toiletries, central heating, safe, Wi-Fi connection, and a view overlooking the gardens (no television).

Day 4 - Live the Gauchos Experience
Today, you will be invited to experience the daily lives of the gauchos and country people, actively participating in their daily activities. This authentic Patagonian Experience includes a visit to the Organic Orchard, learning how horticulture is a fundamental part of life even when living in extreme remoteness with a challenging climate. In the Estancia’s greenhouses and orchards, take part in the planting or harvesting of organic produce that will go directly to your dining table.

Day 5 - Welcome to The Patagonia Camp
In due time, you will be met by Patagonia Camp staff to transfer you to the hotel (Camp), located at Kilometer 74 on the Milodon-Porteño route (Y-290) just 15 kilometers from the main entrance of one of the most beautiful and well-known parks on the planet: the Torres del Paine National Park. Enjoy the incredible sights, its flora, and wild fauna, as you immerse yourself in Patagonia. As part of Patagonia Camp’s excursions, the experienced guides will help make the best of your stay and assit you in planning the activities for the following day.
Patagonia Camp
Yurts have been adapted for the Patagonian landscape with the added comforts of a conventional hotel room: central heating, en-suite bathrooms, amenities, and comfortable interior décor with handmade furniture and textiles. All yurts have a circular dome in the center of the tent which was originally used by Mongolian nomads as a chimney: you can enjoy sleeping under the Patagonian stars all from the comfort and warmth of the yurt. The camp’s restaurant is a warm space with large windows that look out onto the Macizo del Paine and the lake. Here it is possible to taste the best of Patagonia's produce in a pleasant space accompanied by five-star service and the kindness of its professional staff.
Overnight: Patagonia Camp
Meal Plan: B - L - D
Day 6 - Enjoy the Activities at Patagonia Camp
Your stay includes full board (buffet breakfast, box lunch, menu dinner), shared transfers from and to Punta Arenas airport (or Puerto Natales or Cerro Castillo), and an open bar (Matetic vineyards wine and standard spirits). The wide choice of activities (shared with other guests at Patagonia Camp) on offer includes full-day trekking, scenic and short hikes, and some ‘exclusive’ stand-up paddle or kayak among others. You are briefed each evening on what is available for the following day, so you can sign up accordingly.
In addition to the 360 mountain vistas above pure lakes and glaciers, the steppes are carpeted with beautiful wildflowers and a wide array of bird species (condors, swans, ostrich-like rheas), and herds of guanacos (cousins to the llamas). One of the many appeals of Torres del Paine is its total remoteness, stillness, and inaccessibility to most humans. Based on the area’s unpredictable weather conditions (and always biting wind!) please prepare several layers of suitable clothing.
