Description: Enjoy three nights in cosmopolitan Bangkok, then set sail into the Myeik Archipelago of Myanmar. Prepre for a new world experience where spectacular seascapes meet islands of dense forests, white sand beaches and blue lagoons as well as stilted villages inhabited by the native Moken people, a semi-nomadic tribe of sea gypsies and fishermen.

Day 1 - Arrive Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok and immerse in the city's traditional culture and cosmopolitan lifestyle. Enjoy Fast Track at the airport on arrival.

Day 2 - Bangkok

Experience the city's dynamic food scene. Sample fresh fruits and local snacks at a busy morning market. Then head to Chinatown for coconut ice cream and Thai desserts at a shop that has been open since 1932. Discover a 200-year-old marketplace and try local dishes such as pad Thai (Thai fried noodles) or fresh spring rolls. Visit Or Tor Kor, the city's premium market for high-end organic produce.

In the afternoon, visit the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market (open on Saturdays and Sundays only). The maze of open-air stalls offers everything from handicrafts and souvenirs to clothing and accessories, household goods, fabrics, toys and potted plants. Explore the market at your own pace before returning to your hotel by private vehicle.

Day 3 - Bangkok

Get an early start this morning to experience the colorful and vibrant floating market. Explore the traditional marketplace in a wooden row boat, weaving through the line of vessels laden with tropical fruits and vegetables. Marvel at how the vendors expertly prepare fresh snacks and hot noodles from their small, floating shops and taste some of the delicious offerings if you wish. You may even pick up some nice souvenirs along the way. 

Back in Bangkok, discover the island of Rattanakosin, one of the city's oldest districts. Visit the Golden Mount Temple, set on a man-made hill overlooking the city.  Then take a tuk tuk to the glittering Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha where history and architecture are beautifully preserved. Then enjoy the sweet scent of orchids, lotus flowers, marigolds and other native flora at the city's famous flower market.  

In the evening, sip cocktails at a riverside terrace overlooking Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) as the magical sunset casts a fascinating display across the evening sky. Drive through an old area of the city where dazzling temples and palace buildings are lit up at night. Then round out the evening at a trendy rooftop bar for panoramic views of the evening skyline from the top of one of the city's towering skyscrapers.

Day 4 - Bangkok - Myeik Archipelago (via Ranong)

Fly to Ranong, a small city on the western coast of Thailand, which shares a border with Myanmar.  Transfer to the pier and take a local boat across the border to Kawthaung in Myanmar, where your private yacht awaits.

Set sail into the remote, untouched paradise of the Myeik (Mergui) archipelago - an exotic world of over 800 pristine islands with crystal clear lagoons and tropical vegetation which has remained uninhabited and barely touched for thousands of years. Prepare for the quintessential new world experience where spectacular seascapes meet islands of dense forests, white sand beaches and blue lagoons as well as stilted villages inhabited by the native Moken people, a semi-nomadic tribe of sea gypsies and fishermen.

The crew welcome you on board as the yacht sets sail towards Barwell island. You have some time to relax here and enjoy swimming in the sparkling waters before heading up to the deck to watch the magical sunset with cocktails and dinner served on board.

Day 5 - Myeik Archipelago

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board while sailing towards Tang La Bo island. This island offers some amazing snorkeling spots where you have front row seats to view the spectacular marine life below the surface of the water. Swim among the native fish and colorful coral or stroll along the island's pristine beach before returning to the yacht for lunch on board. 

Continue sailing towards Pony island, an ideal place for bird-watching. Keep an eye out for toukans, hornbills or sea eagles, which are all known to inhabit this area. Enjoy another opportunity to swim in the inviting ocean waters before returning for sunset and cocktails on the deck. The yacht anchors overnight in the bay of Nyaung Wee island.

Day 6 - Myeik Archipelago

Wake up to another glorious morning surrounded by the natural sounds of waves lapping against the side of the boat and perhaps birds flying overhead. Breakfast is served as the yacht continues sailing toward Lampi National Park, where you can either visit a mangrove forest or explore a Moken village. Observe the unique lifestyle of the people and learn how they have survived for centuries, relying the fruits of the sea.  The yacht anchors overnight near the quiet bay of Pulo Bunai Island. This area is known for its bioluminescent plankton which you may see glowing in the sea at night.

Day 7 - Myeik Archipelago

Enjoy another pleasant breakfast as the cool sea breeze blows across the endless Andaman Sea. Sail towards Nga Namm island for more snorkeling or perhaps venture out in a kayak to explore more of the wild blue ocean. This island is one of the best spots for fishing and you can spend the afternoon baiting and reeling in some of the interesting species found here.

Lunch is served on board while sailing to Kyun Pila. There may be time for a quick dip in the sea before heading to shore for a bonfire and sunset cocktails on the beach.

Option: Scuba-diving is available at Pila island on request.

Day 8 - Myeik Archipelago

Bask in another glorious morning in the Myeik archipelago as your sailing adventure continues towards 115 island. Have your breakfast while enjoying the wonderful seascapes and undeniable charm of this remote region. Step ashore for a trekking excursion through the jungle. Discover various species of native flora and stop in a quiet and scenic spot for lunch. 

Return to the boat and sail further into the archipelago.  Make a quick stop at Taung La Bo or Kyun Pya Gui, depending on the tide and wind conditions. Admire the beauty of these isolated islands before continuing towards Hastings Bay.  The ship docks here for a final night at sea and you are treated to a special farewell dinner from the Captain.

Day 9 - Depart Myeik Archipelago

Savor your last morning on board your floating home. Spend the morning at leisure, with time for one last dip in the sea before making the final passage back to Kawthaung on the mainland. A casual brunch is served on board before disembarkation at around noon. 

Transfer by local boat back across the border to Ranong, Thailand and connect to your onward flight.
